"Support agencies have been hit hard by funding shortages. Single moms who turn to these agencies for help are being turned away because there is no funding for emergency rental assistance. The need for help with emergency rental assistance in Columbus continues to grow. Single mothers are struggling to make ends meet and without the support of these agencies, they don't have anywhere else to turn for help.
Many of these single moms are losing their housing to eviction.

Motherful would like to stand in the gap for six more families who need our help. We're launching another Emergency Rental Assistance Campaign to help these moms with some stability, security, and loving support. These families need a total of $17,000 to help them keep their homes.

Your support will help us deliver immediate relief to these families and give them peace of mind in this difficult season. We are being called once again to be the village for these families and your dollars will help us continue to be that village with care, kindness, and love."

In Columbus, the emergency housing funds that once helped families stay afloat are nearly gone. The programs that bridged the gap between a missed payment and an eviction notice are drying up, and the safety nets have disappeared.


But the need? The need is still very much here.

Mother-led households in our community are facing eviction right now.

Including four families within the Motherful collective.

That's why we are launching an Emergency Rental Assistance Campaign to keep these families housed, stable, and supported. Starting with the $6,000 needed to keep these four families housed.
